Longeing, Head to Tail

You can longe with just a halter, line and whip, but you won’t be getting the full benefit of the exercise and you may be compromising safety as well.

Using halter rings avoids trauma to the mouth, but the halter can be pulled out of position and up into the horse’s eye on the far side.
