The Grand Gilbert is constructed on Passier’s PS tree, which was developed over 40 years ago and involves over 1,200 manual steps to make. It’s primarily made of wood and leather, although bamboo canes are also used in order to maintain a high degree of flexibility. The gullet plates are made of top-quality alloyed steel.
